It stands to reason then, that to prevent or correct chronic illness we should improve our health habits. However, the popular health and fitness programs are of limited value for preserving health, because they are not based on time proven principles that keep them safe and effective (as explained in on the previous page The Systemic Health Principles). But when we apply the Eight Systemic Health Principles to our health habits, we change them into the Five Systemic Health Techniques.
