More than 60% of North American Women
suffer from PMS or menopausal symptoms.
For more than half their lives, most women face a host of symptoms associated with hormonal changes. Cramps, headaches, irritability, depression, fatigue, water retension, weight gain, hot flashes and night sweats are just a few of the symptoms that disrupt their families and careers. This is not normal or necessary.
What's a Woman To Do?
Women want safe, effective and convenient solutions to PMS and menopausal problems. Until recently, they have had only a few choices, all questionable.
First Choice: Take Medication or Hormone Replacement Therapy
This is the most common decision. Conventional medical care offers convenience and perhaps temporary control of PMS or menopausal symptoms. However, there are two problems with this choice:
- It fails to address the root causes of PMS or menopausal symptoms.
- There is a very long list of common side effects, some quite serious.
Second Choice: Do nothing
Many women choose to do nothing in order to avoid the negative side effects that accompany the use of medications. But this choice has a few problems, too:
- It fails to address the root causes of PMS or menopausal symptoms.
- She will continue to suffer the symptoms.
Third Choice: Design Your Own Nutrition Program
Due to the growing interest in the powerful effects of nutrition, many women attempt to develop their own nutritional program for combating PMS or menopausal symptoms. But this choice also has some problems:
- It fails to fully address the root causes of PMS or menopausal symptoms.
- Accurate information is difficult to access.
- It's a complicated trial-and-error process that is expensive and produces unpredictable results.
The Natural Choice:
First: Understand the Root Causes of PMS and Menopausal Symptoms.
Just as with any other chronic health problem, there is not a single root cause but a combination of root causes:
- Lack of the right kind of moderate (therapeutic) exercise.
- Lack of the right kind of rest (especially sleep).
- Lack of the right kind of nutrition (including poor digestion)
- A build-up of toxins in the female reproductive organs and glands.
- Mishandling of stress.
Second: Use a Permanent Solution The permanent solution to PMS or menopausal symptoms, as with other chronic health problems, is to address all the root causes. That's what the Systemic Health approach is all about. We recommend The Systemic Health Home Study Course. Start with the booklet, "The Introduction to Systemic Health". It explains how the course helps to correct root causes, which improves Systemic Function, which in turn helps to prevent or eliminate chronic illnesses, such as PMS or menopausal problems. Then go on to Part 1 of the course which addresses Systemic Exercise.
If you haven't done it yet, we suggest that you read "Explosive Increase of Chronic Illness," "What Is Systemic Health," and "Improving Systemic Health," preferably in the order they are given.
After you have read the basic pages, if you still have questions, read the Frequently Asked Questions pages:
